Big Sister Event Planning was created to help people celebrate life’s milestones with ease, joy, and intention. Founded by Mackenzie Dixon, we serve Michigan clients who want events that feel seamless, stress-free, and uniquely personal.

The name “Big Sister” comes naturally — as a real big sister in my life, I’ve always been the one to organize, manage, and look out for others. That role has carried into my work, where I bring years of service and event experience, a detail-driven process, and strong vendor relationships to every project.
